Cameron Eric Valencia was born on May 13, 2021.  Shortly after his birth, he was diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder that affected his kidney function.  Due to his condition, he had to endure extended hospitalizations, surgeries, countless lab draws and nightly dialysis treatments.

 

Despite his health complications, Cameron handled everything with unbelievable strength and perseverance. He loved spending time with his family, reading books, taking naps with grandma, sea animals, playing with his brother and going for walks. His amazing smile and loving personality impacted everyone who was lucky enough to meet him. He had the extraordinary capability of exuding love, hope and happiness, even in the hardest moments.

 

Cameron passed away on May 14, 2022 with his parents by his side.  Words alone cannot even begin to express how much he is loved and missed.  Cameron made an everlasting mark on the hearts of everyone he met. Cameron’s family is striving to create projects in his memory with the purpose of providing gifts for hope to children and families.
